What customers say?

“ One of the best lumpia in town. It’s cheap with a good amount of mixtures on it. We really love the taste of it. The location also easy to find. Access from all sides of roads. But just prepare a descent amount of patience due to long queue. Overall, We recommend you to try it if you’re in craving for Authentic fresh Lumpia! Will definitely comeback again sometime. ”

“ It is surprisingly good! It’s all vegetable. The size is small but the taste is packed with so much goodness. It’s fresh, fragrant, garlicky sweet, nutty with a little kick of spiciness. It’s not oily. After trying, was it the best fresh spring roll for me? i would definitely say YES. ”

“ They have been around since 1956, and for good reason. There are no seats or tables. This is a small stall serving only 4 options, reflecting the diversity of cultures food in Manila is best known for historically. See photo for those options. But they are most famous for their fresh spring rolls (lumpia). The lumpia are filled with nuts and a variety of cooked vegetables and a fresh lettuce. There’s sauce in the vegetables already but each order comes with a small packet of thick, brown sweet sauce. The taste of the fresh garlic paste gives it a good kick! ”

“ Cheap and tasty although perhaps a bit sweet for my liking. Efficient and friendly service. ”

“ Globe lumpia is a small counter store along Raon (coming from Avenida Rizal)before you reach Quezon blvd in Quiapo or before you reach the footbridge. They sell freshly made lumpia or fresh lumpia as we know it and made in front of you. Its really affordable and delicious like a quickpick snack. Theres a wait in line to grab one of these freshly made spring rolls but its worth the wait.. Subukan mo and pila lang po.. ”

“ As a place that comes up on the very top for a place to get a lumpia in Manila, i think the lumpia really take me by surprise. (In a not good way). I think how to explain the lumpia is that it is like a mix between Indonesia "Lumpia Basah" with Vietnam "Fresh spring rolls". But you take out the bamboo shoot and the shrimp. It's unique. ”

- Yuwanda Kasikin -

“ Since childhood me and my mom loves to eat this lumpia. The vegetables are yummy and nicely cooked. It still taste great but the vegetables are too over cooked. And we have to wait an hour yesterday to get the lumpia we wanted. There's a long line. Anyway its nice to see old business still there. ”
